What is a gas deposit?

Gas deposit only apply to the first time customer who purchase a brand new bottle from us.
The deposit for a brand new 12.7kg gas cylinder is $20 and the $20 deposit will be refunded if you return the gas cylinder to any of our outlets. For gas cylinder pickup, there is a $21.80 transport fee and will be deduct from your gas cylinder deposit.
You do not have to pay for deposit again if you are ordering for gas refill.

Do I need a gas regulator or which gas regulator should I purchase?

Always look out for the safety mark when purchasing a regulator to verify that they meet the specified standards in Singapore. Cookaburra has 2 different brand of regulators. They are TPA regulator and SRG regulator, both of them have the safety mark and are able to fit Sungas 12.7 kg , Esso gas 12.7 kg and Singas 12.7kg. So what is the difference between this 2 regulator ? SRG regulator is made in Germany whereas TPA regulator is made in China.

How long does a 12.7kg cylinder last?

The estimated average cooking time for a standard 12.7kg gas cylinder is 40 - 44 hours of cooking.

How can I tell if my gas cylinder is running out?

Usually we will advise customer to purchase a spare gas cylinder incase the gas is run out during your bbq or cooking.
Another method is you may place the cylinder on a weighing scale. The estimated total weight for a full 12.7kg gas is about 25kg, once you have reached a threshold of 14kg or less and it is time for you to reorder a refill.
